Pricing
Two prices, and the arithmetic behind them
There is no checkout on this site and no free trial. We would rather talk to you first, because the thing being sold is a measurement and a measurement is worth nothing to a business it does not fit. What follows is every number: what you pay, what a measurement is, what it costs to run one more, and what we will not sell you at any price.
One-off diagnostic
$650once
One full measurement of your business, and an hour with us going through what it says.
- 1
- measurement, over a calendar month
- 1,400
- sampled answers, every cited page read
- 1
- walkthrough with the person who ran it
- One measurement — 1,400 sampled answers across 5 assistants, taken over a calendar month.
- The ranked list of cited pages, who controls each one, and what it would cost and take to get on it.
- Every rate with its sample size and its range, and the smallest change the sample could detect.
- A walkthrough of the report with the person who ran it.
- No commitment afterwards, and nothing to cancel.
Agency licence
$850a month
Ten measurements a month, run by you, on as many client brands as you like.
- 10
- measurements included each month
- $60
- for each measurement beyond the ten
- 1,400
- sampled answers in every measurement
- A measurement is a calendar-month period or a single-day snapshot; either way it is 1,400 sampled answers.
- That $60 is the whole overage: no credits, no bundles, no rate that changes with how many assistants a question reaches.
- An eleventh measurement runs only when someone at your agency starts one — nothing runs on a schedule and nothing is charged on its own — and we can cap your month at the ten if you would rather it could not go past them.
- Unlimited client brands and unlimited seats. A brand costs nothing until you measure it, so a prospect can be set up before you have won them.
- Reports carry your logo, name and color; share links open without an account; print-ready reports, spreadsheets and a read-only connection for your own reporting tools.
- No annual commitment and no minimum term. Month to month.
What a measurement is
One measurement is 35 buying questions, asked 8 times each on every one of 5 assistants — 35 × 8 × 5 = 1,400 sampled answers, with every page cited in every one of them fetched, read and classified. The eight is not a budget choice: it is the floor set by Schulte et al. (arXiv:2604.07585), the 2026 study of how far assistant answers move between runs, below which a source-level number is not worth printing — and this product measures sources. That same study is what the sensitivity below is computed against; it is named and linked on the methodology page. At 1,400 answers the smallest month-over-month move we can tell apart from the assistants’ own randomness is 4.2 percentage points, and every report prints that figure so you can see what it could not have detected.
The assistants are ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode. What each of those actually is — which are answered by a vendor interface with web search and which are a real Google results page, and which name the model that answered — is set out on the methodology page, because you should be able to check it before you buy it rather than after.
What we do not sell
Six things, and they are absent by decision rather than by roadmap:
- A position or a rank. “You were second” is the least stable thing an assistant produces. At the sample sizes anyone in this market can afford, it is a coin toss with a number written on it.
- A sentiment score. Same reason, one step worse: it needs more evidence than a rank and gets less scrutiny.
- A single overall score. Rolling stable and unstable measures into one figure hides which half moved. Where a number would need a footnote to be honest, we print the parts instead.
- A traffic forecast. We measure what assistants read and whether you are on it. Nobody can convert that into visits without inventing the conversion.
- A per-assistant or per-seat add-on. There is no upgrade to sell you for covering one more assistant or seating one more person: all 5 assistants are in every measurement at the price above, and seats are unlimited. The only thing that costs more is measuring more.
- A promise that anything will go up. We do not sell a guaranteed improvement, and you should be suspicious of anyone who does — including of us, if we ever start.
What changes when your needs change
Most of what makes a plan in this market cost more than its headline is what happens when you add something. Here is what happens here, beside what published price lists in this market generally do. We are not naming anyone, and that column carries no figures: these are the shapes of price pages, which you can check by opening a few, not prices we would be quoting at you without a source.
When
You want another assistant covered
Here
Nothing changes. All 5 are in every measurement, at the price above.
Generally elsewhere
Assistants are commonly sold one at a time, as add-ons to the plan, so the price on the front of the plan is rarely the price of covering the assistants your client actually uses.
When
You add a client
Here
Nothing, until you measure them. A client is a saved set of questions; keeping one costs nothing and there is no limit on how many you keep.
Generally elsewhere
Clients are usually brand slots or seats tied to the tier, so a client past the tier’s allowance is a tier upgrade rather than a line item you can price for that client.
When
You need more measurements than the ten
Here
$60 each, stated here rather than quoted on request.
Generally elsewhere
Extra volume is usually bought as credits, whose per-unit price is not published and whose consumption rate depends on how many assistants a query fans out to.
When
The plan's allowance changes
Here
It changes only when this page changes, and this page is dated at the bottom.
Generally elsewhere
Allowances are set in the plan rather than in a contract, which is what allows one to be revised at an unchanged price.
What happens next
Three steps, and you can stop after any of them.
- You ask for access. A short form and a reply from a person. We will tell you if your category is one where assistants name businesses at all — for some it is not, and that is a reason not to buy.
- We run the diagnostic. $650, one measurement, one report, one walkthrough. It takes a calendar month, because the samples are spread across separated days on purpose. Nothing renews.
- You take the licence, or you do not. $850 a month, 10 measurements included, $60 each after that, month to month. Agencies who take it usually do so after the first client report has gone down well, which is the order we would recommend.
